We our proud to launch our new Hayes Wick PCN Connected Living Cafe on Tuesday 4th February 11am - 1pm at Medhurst Hall, West Wickham.
The cafe will run on the first and third Tuesday of every month and all patients from the 5 surgeries in the Hayeswick Primary Care Network and over the age of 60 are welcome to attend. These surgeries are Station Road, Wickham Park, Forge Close, Pickhurst and Addington Road.
We will be offering a space to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit or piece of fruit while listening to talks from Clinical Professionals. Speakers range from clinicians who can advise on different aspects of physical and mental health; as well as other services in the community who can provide more social support and connective living.
The Connected Living Cafe will provide a place for people to come and socialise and get out into the community with games and activities available too. Social prescribers are on hand to help people who may not necessarily attend the practice with issues. There is also going to be a "Digital Support" table where our Digital Champions will be on hand to support any patients within installing and using the NHS App as well as giving instructions of how they can submit an online consultation to their practice.
I also attach an electronic version of the poster and timetable template. I would be grateful if you could add these to the posters you have on display.
We look forward to seeing as many patients as possible on the 4th February and beyond!
Kind regards
Erica Jacobs
