Concerts at St Francis and St Mary's

St Francis’ Church is a popular venue for concerts. There are occasional concerts organised by the Church and it is also used regularly by the Hayes Symphony Orchestra (for a link to the orchestra website click here)  Their next concert is on Saturday 28 March 2020 when the programme will include Wagner “Flying Dutchman” Overture; Sibelius Karelia Suite and Tchaikovsky Symphony No 4

Every summer there is a season of free lunchtime concerts at St Francis.  The 2020 season of concerts takes place between May and September.As usual each recital will take place on a Thursday between 12.45 pm and 1.30 pm on the following dates. 

          14 May:           Felicity Cliffe, oboe and Paolo Rinaldi, piano
          18 June:           Bethan Terry, soprano and Francesca Lauri, piano
          23 July:            Nigel Sharpe, violin, Yohei Nakajima, viola, Martin Sharpe, piano
          13 August:       Peter De Croos, organ
          27 August:       Yuko Yagishita piano
          24 September: Students from Langley Park Boys School
During the  Festival of Arts, Well-being through the Arts in July, it is a pleasure to welcome the return of Langley Park School for Boys to give a Lunchtime Concert at St Francis directly after the Place of Welcome on Friday 10 July at 12.15 pm:  ALL are welcome. Please bring your own lunch; FREE tea and coffee will be available.
