Nestled in the heart of West Wickham, Kent, the Hayes Symphony Orchestra is a vibrant community of passionate musicians, drawing players from across the local areas of Bromley, Dartford, Croydon, and Orpington. This friendly, amateur orchestra is dedicated to sharing orchestral music with audiences and musicians alike.

From the grandeur of the classical and romantic periods to the captivating melodies of the baroque and modern eras, the Hayes Symphony Orchestra’s repertoire encompasses a diverse range of compositions, including some of the classic FM favourites.

With three to four concerts per year, each preceded by nine weekly rehearsals on Wednesday evenings, the orchestra provides a platform for musicians of all ages and skill levels to come together, hone their talents, and create truly remarkable performances.

Whether you’re wanting to return to playing your instrument or a seasoned player, the Hayes Symphony Orchestra welcomes new members with open arms. With current vacancies in the 1st and 2nd Violin sections as well as the basses and brass instruments, now is the perfect time to join this warm and inclusive ensemble and experience the joy of music-making as part of a thriving community.
